[PillowTalk, Disco Knights, Songs for Lovers]
One of dance music’s most lively and eclectic artists, Shane’s low-slung-style of house and disco breathes new life into dance floors around the world. Whether playing keyboards with PillowTalk or DJing solo at coveted festivals like Houghton and Love International, Shane’s diverse musical roots shine through in his varied song selection as seen from his annual closing set at the Sunset Campout in Northern California.
Growing up in New York City as a youth in the Metropolitan Opera, Shane cut his teeth mixing hip-hop and R&B while studying classical piano & music theory at Manhattan School of Music. Shane then moved to San Francisco to pay dues at record stores like Housewares while fine-tuning his knack for mixing a variety of genres. Now Shane inspires crowds from SoHo House Amsterdam to London’s Ministry of Sound and undergrounds including Disco Knights—Burning Man’s epic sound camp.
Shane was sponsored by Polaroid Originals; and is known for striking the perfect chord at various branded events including Mezcal Amores in Mexico and Palladium Boots at Art Basel. After tours in Europe at beloved places like Kater Blau in Berlin and Gay Pride Amsterdam, Shane is back in the Brooklyn studio creating the next PillowTalk album with tracks to be released Fall 2025. Shane and DJ partner Alvaro Z, keep up their monthly “Songs for Lovers” party in San Francisco featuring esteemed guests like Nick the Record, Masha Mar, Galen and Ray Mang.
